Like I said they both should be in, but VT beat Miami by 14 on a neutral floor at the end of the year. You and the selection committee say thats more important. Both played terrible at times this year and great at others which is why they both should have been 9-11 seeds.

nobody said that winning one game in a postseason conference tourney is more important than beating top teams during the regular season

and as for what was said about the selection criteria.......it was said that they look at each teams resume individually which is why miami finished lower in the ACC and still got in
better overall resume
just accept the fact that VTs resume sucked money nuts and move on
What is done is done (water under the bridge now). The Hokies could do like Virginia did back with Stith and co. That club won 21,had an above .500 record in the ACC,felt snubbed,and proved a point by winning the NIT Championship. Maybe they could deal out NCAA bids,wait a week or so and watch the NIT tournament,and add the 2 NIT finalists to the NCAA field. I know that is not possible,but it sure would intensify the NIT.

but they didnt......so it isnt a fair comparison
Not a comparison. I am just saying that if they feel snubbed,then prove a point and win the NIT. When UVA won it,they had a right to say "I told you so".
but they wont win the NIT.......basically because they arent really that good
oh and when they bow out of the NIT early.......im willing to bet that some here are going to back with the whole thing about them being pissed off they got left out of the field of 65 and that they didnt want to be there so they didnt take the game seriously

If you love the game,and are granted post-season play and lay down,you have no business being on the court. If the Hokies can't find motivation by feeling snubbed,then they are hopeless. I expect them to indeed be fired up,dump Morgan State,and make a run.
